MPs need to know your concerns about HS2 before the debate on the 13 October

Dear Visitor,
There will be a general debate on HS2 in the House of Commons on 13 October 2011, so it is even more important that you write to your MP, to make sure they know your concerns. Encourage friends, neighbours and family to do the same. It could not be simpler: you enter your details on the following website, the website will identify your MP, draft a suggested letter (which you can amend, add to or completely rewrite) and email it to your MP when you are ready. However, make sure you read and follow the 'ready to send' page to ensure your response is definitely sent. Go to www.highspeedrail.org.uk to follow this simple and quick process and don't forget to sign the petition athttp://epetitions.direct.gov.uk/petitions/353 to make sure your objections get counted.
Our latest blog was prompted by Hammond's comments to the select committee that British railways are a "rich man's toy".
Are you interested to know what other organisations/groups are also fighting HS2 or opposed to it? See the latest list here.
regards,
HS2 AA
